DENIM GLOSSARY

5- LEFT HAND TWILL OR S TWILL

It is a type of weaving where the lines of the twill go from the top left hand corner towards the bottom right hand corner.

The left hand twill is a less commonly used weave type where the diagonal lines are often showed with better definition. The texture appears more even, smoother, and more of the white weft is exposed the face of the fabric.

A left hand twill will develop a softer handfeel through wear and use than the standard right hand version.
