Craftmanship

This is style has been produced in a very limited batch with a fabric that has been woven for us by a small artisan mill in the Alsace region, France.
A lot of attention to the detail has been put into that garment, in order to achieve a clean and neat look, on both the outside and the inside.
The fabric is selvedge loomed, and it´s 14oz. herringbone. Both the warp and the weft are indigo dyed.
Any question related to the product can be asked to hi@companiondenim.com
The jacket is a made-to-order product. It can take up to 3 weeks to be produced and shipped by any of the courier company we work with, depending on the country of destination. We use Fedex, DHL, TNT,…

Care

Due to the nature of this jacket, double indigo on warp and weft, dyeing onto lighter surfaces can occur.
We always recommend to “wear as much as possible, wash as little as possible”.
Following this principle and washing your indigo garment after 6-8 months of wear will give them some nice fadings and strong character. The more you wear your jacket, the better it will look.
However, we aren´t too dogmatic on this. If you need or feel like washing your jacket before that time, do it without regrets.
If you´re going to take them on the long “no wash” journey you should avoid wearing tit on certain situations where it could pick up a strong smell or hardly removable stains, e.g. barbecue party, painting your room,…
We craft our products to be as durable as possible, but even so, repairs are part of the life of a garment. That is unavoidable. But it will also empasize a personal and worn in unique look.
Wash the jacket inside out in cold temperature or at 30ºc maximum, without using any bleach or chlorine chemicals.
Do not tumble dry the jacket as it can damage some of the materials or the fabric itself. Hang dry it instead, as it will also avoid the need of ironing.
